Manava Breathing is slow nasal breathing deep into our belly at a rate of 5.5 breathes per minute.

Founded in the science of slow diaphragmatic breathing, Manava Breathing has been shown to improve the following areas: HRV (heart rate variability), lower blood pressure, focus and calming the mind.

Breathing slower has been shown to take us out of a panicked ‘sympathetic’ mindset and support us to access a calm ‘parasympathetic’ state of being.

Manava Breathing was founded by Gareth Edwards and Will Fleming.
Gareth is an Oxygen Advantage Instructor and New Zealands first Oxygen Advantage Master Instructor.
Will is a proud Cook Islander who is passionate about teaching breathing techniques that have been scientifically shown to calm the mind, improve focus and support us to be present in the here and now.
